—In the article entitled "Concomitant Administration of Terazosin and Atenolol for the Treatment of Essential Hypertension," published in the March issue of the Archives (1988;148:539-543), an error appeared in the abstract (p 539, line 11) and in Fig 1 and the legend to Fig 1 (p 540). In the abstract, line 11, the words "four times" should be deleted. The sentence should read as follows: "Patients assigned to the terazosin hydrochloride treatment group received increasing dosages (1, 2, 5, and 10 mg daily) of terazosin at two-week intervals until the maximum dose was reached or until the supine DBF was decreased to less than 90mm Hg." In Fig 1, the abbreviation "qid" should have been "qd." In the legend, the words "qid indicates four times daily" should be deleted. The sentence should read as follows: "Diagrams of study design; qd indicates daily."
