Abstract

In the article entitled "The Optimum Use of Needle Aspiration in the Bacteriologic Diagnosis of Cellulitis in Adults" that appeared in the September 1990 issue of the Archives (Arch Intern Med. 1990;150:1907-1912), an error appeared in the abstract on page 1907, line 15. The sentence therein read as follows: "For most patients this procedure will not be not helpful in establishing a bacteriologic diagnosis." The second "not" should be deleted, and the sentence should have read as follows: "For most patients this procedure will not be helpful in establishing a bacteriologic diagnosis."
