Arch Intern Med. 2012;172(4):361. doi:10.1001/archinternmed.2012.83

Error in Figure. In the Research Letter titled “Impact of Electronic Health Records on Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Blood Pressure Control at US Primary Care Visits” by Samal et al, published in the January 9, 2012, issue of the Archives (2012;172[1]:75-76), an error occurred in the Figure on page 76, where P values in the “Without EHR or CDS” bars were transposed. The corrected Figure appears here.

Figure. Predicted proportion with blood pressure lower than 140/90 mm Hg. Predicted proportion after adjusting for patient age, sex, diabetes, insurance, and practice ownership, and accounting for interactions between race and other covariates. AA indicates African American; CDS, clinical decision support; EHR, electronic health record; and NS, nonsignificant.
