Error in Reference List

JAMA Intern Med. 2016;176(3):417. doi:10.1001/jamainternmed.2016.0106

In the reference list for the editorial by Cummings et al1 titled “Vitamin D Supplementation and Increased Risk of Falling: A Cautionary Tale of Vitamin Supplements Retold,” published online in JAMA Internal Medicine on January 4, 2016, reference 4 was incorrect. The reference should have read: Sanders KM, Stuart AL, Williamson EJ, et al. Annual high-dose oral vitamin D and falls and fractures in older women: a randomized controlled trial. JAMA. 2010;303(18):1815-1822.
