Error in Figure in: The Obesity Paradox: Body Mass Index and Outcomes in Patients With Heart Failure

Arch Intern Med. 2008;168(6):567. doi:10.1001/archinte.168.6.567

Error in Figure. In the Original Article by Curtis et al titled “The Obesity Paradox: Body Mass Index and Outcomes in Patients With Heart Failure” published in the January 10, 2005, issue of the Archives (2005;165[1]:55-61), there was an error in Figure 1. The lines in the figure key corresponded to the incorrect BMI groups. A correct version of Figure 1 is reprinted here.

Figure 1.
Kaplan-Meier survival curves stratified by body mass index (BMI) groups and showing numbers of patients at risk according to month since study initiation. Body mass index is calculated as weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters.
