Abstract

Combination chemotherapy was used in induction of complete remission in patients with advanced Hodgkin's disease. Forty-three previously untreated patients with advanced disease were treated in initial study between January 1964 and January 1967. Follow-up data for the entire group are available for at least four years.

Life-table analysis for the group reveals 0.79 of the group surviving after two years. Further studies are indicated to evaluate the role of continuous intermittent therapy in the prevention of late relapse.
