This book is divided into 2 sections: an introductory review of multiple sclerosis (MS) and a more extensive section that includes 117 illustrations of the disease and imaging techniques used in MS. The atlas covers the history of MS up to the present, from the original descriptions forward. The author is a senior and well-established contributor to the field of MS literature, with particular interest in the epidemiology of MS and the hypothesis that trauma predisposes patients to MS. The time he has spent in this field make him well suited to compile an atlas of this breadth.
