This atlas of the human brain is divided into 3 sections as described in the title. The first section includes surface anatomy and functional localization of the cortex. A brief written description of the lateral, inferomedial, and basal surface of the brain is combined with pictures of the brain surface that include legends for identification of structures. The section concludes with a brief discussion of functional localization of the frontal, temporal, parietal, and occipital lobes along with a diagram of the lateral and medial surfaces of the brain with Brodmann areas identified.
