Arch Neurol. 2000;57(12):1790. doi:

This informative monograph on mononeuropathies provides the reader with all the salient information needed for evaluation, workup, and management of patients with peripheral nerve disorders. Part 1 covers mononeuropathies in the arm and trunk; part 2, mononeuropathies in the leg; and part 3, mononeuropathies other than focal neuropathies. Each chapter is divided into several subheadings and the overall organization and outline are uniform throughout the book. This allows for easy reading. Each chapter includes Dr Hasan's clear, well-thought-out drawings on anatomy and muscle testing that are user friendly and give practical information to physicians who do not see patients with mononeuropathies on a day-to-day basis. However, it should be noted that books on manual muscle testing may disagree with the positions described for muscle testing of hip abductors, extensors, gastrocnemius, and soleus.
