We thank Dr Kattah for his thoughtful letter. We provide in the Table the data he requested with regard to the treatment group distribution according to disability status for the 127 patients reported in the article who developed clinically definite multiple sclerosis and for whom an Expanded Disability Status Scale assessment was made. As can be seen in the Table, there was no significant difference between treatment groups in disability levels (P = .35).
