Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorders, 5th ed

Arch Neurol. 2007;64(10):1544. doi:10.1001/archneur.64.10.1544

edited by Joseph Jankovic, MD, and Eduardo Tolosa, MD, 740 pp, with illus, $139, ISBN 978-0-7817-7881-7, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2006.

This is the fifth edition of a renowned textbook. The first edition was published in 1988. Ever since, it has been a premier reference book for clinicians and researchers and also for students interested in clinical and basic science aspects of movement disorders.

The book is organized into 48 chapters, but the order of the content list is not easy to follow. It would have been easier for the reader if closely related topics were grouped together into sections with respective section headings.
