Eva L. Feldman, MD, PhD, FAAN, has joined the Editorial Board of JAMA Neurology. Dr Feldman is the Russell N. DeJong Professor of Neurology, University of Michigan, and the immediate past president of the American Neurological Association. We are extremely gratified to have her great scholarship and insights in the evaluation of important manuscripts and advice in the emerging new concepts and developments in the neuroscience of neuromuscular diseases. She is currently funded by the National Institutes of Health as principal investigator on 3 grants, received a Distinguished Faculty Achievement Award from the University of Michigan in 2012, and became a member of the Société Française de Neurologie in 2013. She has published more than 300 original articles in peer-reviewed journals, with an emphasis on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and diabetic neuropathy. Carl W. Bazil, MD, PhD, will be joining the JAMANeurology Editorial Board, providing us with extraordinary accomplishments and impressive scholarship in the clinical and neuroscientific basis of epilepsies and sleep disorders. Dr Bazil is a Caitlin Tynan Doyle Professor of Neurology, as well as director of the Epilepsy and Sleep Division and of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Department of Neurology, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Neurological Institute, New York, New York. He has developed special interests in conducting clinical trials of antiepileptic drugs and therapies for sleep disorders and also assessing outcomes after epilepsy surgery, and he has authored more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals in these areas of research. We are proud to have Dr Bazil become a member of our JAMA Neurology family and look forward to his active involvement in our editorial activities.
