To the Editor The Invited Commentary by Naseri and McLeod1 on immediate sequential cataract surgery (ISCS) compared with delayed sequential cataract surgery (DSCS) based on my physician perspective cost-analysis model2 is an excellent analysis that discusses how premium intraocular lens (IOL) use may affect this model. It also reviews various factors affecting physician decision making.
