In Reply We greatly appreciate the comments by Rasool and Odel regarding our article. At the time of publication, we did not have laboratory data supporting the viral etiology. We agree with the clinical similarity to cobalamin C deficiency and plan to include it in our differential diagnosis to assess its potential role as a cofactor.
