The article by Gedde et al1 that reports a retained nuclear fragment in the anterior chamber 6 weeks following cataract extraction by phacoemulsification resembles the 2 cases reported by Bohigian and Wexler.2 We have seen a patient with the same complications that developed 1 year after uncomplicated cataract extraction.
