Arch Ophthalmol. 1999;117(10):1450. doi:

This book boldly goes where few ophthalmology texts have dared go before. The concept that low vision care encompasses more than lenses and large print and that " . . . ophthalmologists can render care to the whole person, not just the eye." is one that has been missing from most of the previous works on this topic written by and for ophthalmologists. Dr Fletcher has done an excellent job of assembling a crew of contributors who are at the top of their respective fields and can offer insights from occupational therapy, low vision therapy, and vision research, as well as from ophthalmology.
