The editors of this book have assembled an impressive compilation of topics by experts in the field. Their stated goal was to provide an in-depth and detailed description of various strabismic entities followed by a review of treatment options. In doing so, the editors did not attempt to create a text with a unified approach to strabismus. Rather, they selected contributors from many different schools of thought. Each author thoroughly explains the rationale for strabismus management in the review of options section. This approach results in an outstanding collection of work that highlights the knowledge and experience of many of the world's strabismus experts.
