Once again, George Spaeth, MD, and colleagues have assembled a practical, well-illustrated, pearl-filled text on ophthalmic surgery for the comprehensive ophthalmic surgeon or surgeon in training. Those familiar with previous editions of this text will be pleased with this third edition. As is stated in the introduction, "In this text we emphasize selectivity." Procedures that seem most satisfactory to the average surgeon are presented in detail—instead of the usual brief descriptions of many options.
