Writing a comprehensive textbook covering the entire scope of ophthalmology is a daunting task undertaken by only a select few authors. The Agarwal family and their colleagues have taken on this challenge. Textbook of Ophthalmology is a 4-volume set intended to be a reference used by residents, fellows, practitioners, and teachers of ophthalmology. A long list of international contributers participated in composing various chapters, with a large proportion directly contributed by the Agarwals themselves.
