William C. Lloyd III, MD, was appointed professor of Ophthalmology and Pathology and director of Ophthalmic Pathology at the School of Medicine, University of California, Davis, Sacramento, Calif. Dr Lloyd’s analysis of clinical and surgical specimens helps physicians and patients clearly understand their specific eye problems and expedites effective treatments. He attended the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, Md, and completed his residency in anatomic pathology at the Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Tex. His research interests include ocular trauma, forensic ophthalmology, and molecular pathology.
