Surgical Anatomy Around the Orbit: The System of Zones by Barry Zide, MD, is an extension of the author's previous book, Surgical Anatomy of the Orbit, published in 1985. The author recognized that an updated version would be necessary to encompass the advances in endoscopic techniques and forehead and face lifting. In particular, emphasis on the retroorbicularis oculi fat, suborbicularis oculi fat, and cutaneous retaining ligaments of the face is demonstrated through excellent dissections and schematic diagrams.
