This is the third edition of a book that grew out of Dr Lorimer Fison's courses on retinal detachment surgery in Singapore in 1975. Dr Fison, who passed away in 2004, was a retinal surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England. One of the chief aims of the original courses he conducted was to help equip “occasional retinal detachment surgeons to attain good results in the majority of cases.”
Fison's Retinal Detachment Surgery, 3rd Edition, is a concise and easy-to-read primer of retinal detachment surgery. It is copiously illustrated and takes the form of a brief atlas on the subject.
