Oregon Academy Postgraduate Convention in Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.  —The Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology has announced its tenth annual spring convention, to be held from June 19 to June 24, 1949.The guest speakers will be: Dr. Lawrence R. Boies, professor of otolaryngology, University of Minnesota Medical School, who will discuss chronic conditions of the ear and nose and current problems in otolaryngology; Dr. Leland Hunnicutt, associate clinical professor of otolaryngology, University of Southern California School of Medicine, who will speak on hemorrhagic problems in the ear, nose and throat, and Dr. Edmund B. Spaeth, professor of ophthalmology, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, who will discuss surgery of the eye.Round table luncheon discussions will be held daily.Fee for the postgraduate convention is $75, which includes the cost of daily luncheons.
