Annual Meeting of Section on Ophthalmology, A. M. A.  —The annual meeting of the Section on Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, was held in the Dennis Hotel, June 7-9, 1955, during the Annual Meeting of the American Medical Association in Atlantic City, N. J.Guest of honor speakers were J. W. Tudor Thomas, of Cardiff, Wales, who spoke on "Fixation of Corneal Grafts," and James H. Doggart, of London, England, who spoke on "The Impact of Boxing upon the Visual Apparatus."The following officers of the Section were elected: A. D. Ruedemann, chairman; John B. Hitz, vice-chairman; Harold G. Scheie, secretary, elected in 1953 for three years; William L. Benedict, delegate to House of Delegates, reelected in 1954 for two years, and Harvey Thorpe, alternate delegate, reelected in 1954 for two years.The Knapp Medal was awarded to David G.
