ANNOUNCEMENTS 

Eastern Section, Association for Research in Ophthalmology.  —The meeting of the Eastern Section of the Association for Research in Ophthalmology will be held in New York at Bellevue Hospital on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21 and 22, 1958.

Causes of Failure in Intraocular Surgery.  —The faculty of the Division of Ophthalmology, Stanford University School of Medicine, announces a new course, "The Causes of Failure in Intra-Ocular Surgery and Related Problems." The course will be presented Nov. 12 through Nov. 15, 1958. The $75.00 fee will include lunches and a dinner. Enrollment will be limited to 30 ophthalmologists. Those interested should contact the Office of the Dean, Stanford University School of Medicine, 2398 Sacramento St., San Francisco 15.
