This compact little book in German is intended for the nonmedical assistant in the ophthalmologist's office or hospital. It outlines the anatomy and physiology of the eye in a brief but lucid fashion. Considerable space is given to functional testing, including orthoptics and field-taking. There is even a short section on photography of the eyegrounds and the anterior segment of the eye. It should be a useful little book for those office assistants who read German fluently.
