Graduate Fellowship in Optics.  —The Perkin-Elmer Corporation of Norwalk, Conn., has awarded the University of Rochester a $5,800 annual graduate fellowship in optics beginning in September, 1961. The University's Institute of Optics is being consolidated with its College of Engineering this year to strengthen the collaboration between optics and engineering and make possible an acceleration and expansion of interdepartmental projects.
