Abstract

Comment will be limited to the section on "Eyelids and Eye" alone. It is the reviewer's opinion that anyone not trained in ophthalmic lid surgery who tried to follow the instructions given would end in disaster.

While it is possible that a case can be made out for including dacryocystorrhinostomy in a general textbook on plastic surgery, there is certainly no excuse for including corneal transplantation, and an obsolete method at that.

This atlas is not recommended for anyone interested in ophthalmic reconstructive surgery.
