The reader should not be misled into expecting a comprehensive treatise on systemic eye diseases. One half of this small volume is devoted to a review by D. P. Choyce, FRCS, of "Tropical Eye Diseases," well illustrated, and of interest to the many ophthalmologists who rarely see tropical disease.

The remainder of the book is comprised of articles by T. F. Schlaegel, Jr., MD, on Histoplasmic Choroiditis, by Edward C. Ferguson, III, MD, and Leroy J. Olson, PhD, on Toxocara Nematodiasis, by William F. Kearney, MD, on Hemoglobin S Ophthalmopathy, and by Andrew P. Ferry, MD, on Metastatic Carcinoma of the Eye and Ocular Adnexa.
