Computer techniques and instrumentation were applied to records in a glaucoma clinic to provide meaningful information to the physician. The advantages of the system are reduction in time spent by the physician reviewing the patient's record, improved medical care based on the availability of the latest test results, and a source of rapid supply of information useful for investigational purposes. Other possible applications of electronic data processing are suggested.
