New York Eye and Ear Infirmary Post-Graduate Institute.  —The 12th series of postgraduate courses for specialists in ophthalmology will be held from Sept 8 through Nov 22. Courses will include advances in ocular prostheses; biomicroscopy; cataract surgery; clinical perimetry; corneal contact lenses; corneal surgery; diagnostic ultrasonography; enucleation and evisceration; fluorescein angiography; glaucoma; gonioscopy; indirect ophthalmoscopy; lacrimal sac surgery; motor anomalies; neuroophthalmology; ocular geriatrics; ocular radiology; ocular therapeutics; ophthalmoscopy; pathology; perimetry; plastic eye surgery; practical applanation tonometry; radioactive isotopes in ophthalmology; refraction; surgery of the orbit; tonography and applanation tonometry; and uveitis. Following the regular series, a one-week course will review the basic sciences in ophthalmology.
