In these days of fluorescein angiography, a traditional atlas of fundus photographs may seem anachronistic. Nevertheless, the excellence of the originals, the high quality of the reproductions, and the comprehensive coverage of retinal and choroidal diseases make this volume a valuable reference work.
The first 119 pages are devoted to a straightforward textual exposition of the varieties of conditions to be illustrated. The remaining pages present the color plates on the right hand side and case histories explaining them on the left. Each color plate consists of six fundus photographs, except for a few composite fundus montages.
The price of this fine volume is clearly justified by the richness of the offering.
