The New York Glaucoma Group was formed in 1962 by the directors of the main glaucoma clinics in New York city, as a means of sharing problems in their field of common interest. So successful were their informal meetings that they were extended in an annual national meeting. The present volume is the transcript of the 1966 and 1967 meetings of the group. It presents the detailed discussion of 25 problem cases of glaucoma, with a short question and answer period after each of the two sessions. Field charts and photographs of optic nerve heads are included at appropriate places.

The presentations are unrehearsed and the comments are those of experts in the presence of their peers. All necessary data are either provided in the case presentations or are elicited by the questions of the panelists.
