Calendar of Events 

Conference on Bioavailability of Drugs.  —The US Pharmacopeia and the Drug Research Board of the National Research Council announce a jointly sponsored conference on bioavailability of drugs for Oct 18 and 19, 1971. The Conference will be held in the new auditorium of the National Academy of Sciences, 2101 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, DC. Inquiries may be addressed to Dr. Thomas J. Macek, US Pharmacopeial Convention, Inc., 4630 Montgomery Ave, Bethesda, Md 20014. Mr. Duke Trexler represents the National Research Council.

Clinical Congress.  —The American College of Surgeons will open the world's largest meeting of surgeons with the 57th annual Clinical Congress at Atlantic City, NJ, Oct 18 to 22, 1971. Nearly 14,000 are expected to register for the five-day meeting, including 9,000 to 10,000 physicians from some 40 countries.
