Calendar of Events 

New Appointments at Temple University.  —Dr. Paul Kotin, vice-president for Health Sciences and Dean of Temple University School of Medicine, has announced the appointment of Dr. Robison D. Harley, professor of ophthalmology, to acting chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Harley will continue to serve as director of pediatric ophthalmology at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and at Wills Eye Hospital.Dr. Guy H. Chan, associate professor of ophthalmology, will direct the eye service of the hospital, and the training of medical students, interns, and residents. He has been director of medical education at Wills Eye.Dr. Harley succeeds Dr. Arthur H. Keeney, who is medical director at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Keeney will retain an appointment as professor at Temple.
