A Modified Tarrsorhaphy Technique

Abstract

A technique for lid closure replacing tarsorrhaphy uses a flap of inferior fornix conjunctiva sewn as a bridge to the upper lid. It avoids injury to the lid margin and to the tarsal skeleton of the lid.
