This volume represents an excellent and extensive coverage of the new developments in fluorescein angiography by 184 authors who participated in the First International Symposium in Albi, France, June 1969.
This book is divided into six parts: (1) apparatus and technique; (2) choroid tumors and degeneration and circulation; (3) pigment epithelium; (4) animal experimentation; (5) diabetic retinopathy, clinical and angiographic aspects and treatment; (6) neuro-ophthalmology, dynamics of circulation and papillar alterations.
This book will be of value to anyone interested in fluorescein angiography. In the first part, a detailed description of all the different apparatuses and techniques used in modern fluorescein angiography of the retina, choroid, and iris is given.
In the larger clinical parts of this book, a detailed description of the various diseases of the eye which have been studied by fluorescein is given. Each section is followed by a discussion, and a good list of references
