Abstract

Cicatricial entropion of both the upper and the lower lids results from chronic inflammatory conditions or occurs secondary to surgical lid procedures. The described surgical technique represents a modification of existing marginal rotational approaches and can be applied to both upper and lower lids. It allows a greater predictability over the desired extent of marginal rotation by creating a hinge-like arrangement of fractured lid elements.
