Abstract

Mucoceles occur when communication between the sinus and the nose is obstructed. The surgical management is to reestablish adequate drainage without producing either cosmetic or functional deformity. This is accomplished by the external brow approach and the removal of the anterior ethmoidal cells for drainage.
