Abstract

An unusual tumor on the eyelid was characterized as a primary mucinous adenocarcinoma of sweat gland origin on the basis of histologic criteria and histochemical stains. This lesion should be differentiated from other types of hidradenocarcinoma and from metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma of the skin.
