This third volume in the series of Current Concepts in Ophthalmology presents recent developments in the fields of investigative and clinical ophthalmology under the editorship of Professor Frederick Blodi. The main problem in reviewing such a volume lies in the diversity of the subject matter presented. For example, there are articles ranging from current thoughts on contact lens management to orbital tumors; from the rational uses of antibiotics in ophthalmology to the techniques of iris fluorescein angiography; from case presentations of central serous retinopathy to various information systems in ophthalmology.
Because of this diversity of articles, the potential purchaser of such a book is faced with the problem of buying a volume, when only a few of the many articles may lie within his particular field of interest.
