Abstract

A pipetting syringe-controlled, vinyl eye cannula is reported for use in aspiration or microinfusion of the anterior chamber. Techniques of local anesthesia, limbal puncture, sample recovery, and drug infusion are described. Self-sealing puncture of the animal limbus by needles that are coated with acetic acid ointment is also discussed.
