This volume contains three reviews. The first one is by Professor Jules Francois of Ghent and deals with hereditary choroidal dystrophies. The coverage is complete and the bibliography is superb. The second review discusses penalization as a therapeutic modality in early strabismus. The review is done by Dr Haase of Hamburg and is in German. The third review is from Sweden and deals with chamber angle anomalies in the exfoliation glaucoma.

Two of the original papers deal with fluorescein angiographic disc changes in glaucoma. Both of the articles come from Japan, and for both of them, Dr Tsukahara is the senior author. The first article deals with hyperpermeable disc capillaries, and the second one with the correlation between visual field defects, cup-disc ratio, and the fluorescein angiogram.
