Abstract

This monograph was compiled in Denmark. The senior author is associated with the Eye Department of the Frederiksberg Hospital in Copenhagen, and Dr Jensen is a member of the Eye Pathology Institute of the University of Copenhagen.

Three hundred consecutive external ocular tumors are analyzed and evaluated. Representative samples of the various tumors are illustrated and discussed. Most of the color plates are of excellent quality and are most instructive.

The book is a good survey of the most frequently encountered tumors of the conjunctiva and the lids. It is an excellent example of a clinicopathologic correlation, and it should be of great teaching value for all residents and young ophthalmologists.
