Abstract

• A fiberoptic sleeve was developed to fit over the Neubauer intraocular foreignbody forceps for use with the divided function vitrectomy (Ocutome) system. By combining the illumination with the forceps, a bimanual approach can be used for simultaneous vitrectomy.
