To the Editor.
—I found the article entitled "Ovoid Bodies in Choroidal Neurofibromatosis" by Kurosawa and Kurosawa in the December 1982 Archives (100:1939-1941) interesting. I performed transmission electron microscopy (TEM) on similar tissue in 1977 and presented my results at the 1980 meeting of the Eastern Ophthalmic Pathology Society in New York. One of my electron micrographs illustrating the concentric lamellar arrangement of Schwann's cells in an ovoid body serves as illustration 2-6B in the second edition of Myron Yanoff and Ben S. Fine's Ocular Pathology: A Text & Atlas.
