The slide-script program is intended to supplement section 7 of the academy's Basic and Clinical Science Course dealing with external disease and cornea. The program consists of fifty-two 35-mm slides, each of excellent quality, representing common or clinically important conditions. The slides include graphics and composites demonstrating several key features of one condition on the same slide. Many of the slides are from the first edition. The major improvement in the program is the accompanying guide in which a black-and-white photograph of each slide is printed above the descriptive text.
