Abstract

Bradley R. Straatsma, MD, Featured Speaker.  Bradley R. Straatsma, MD, professor and past chairman of ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute of the University of California—Los Angeles and editor of the American Journal of Ophthalmology, served as the featured lecturer for the 2nd Annual Harold Gifford, Jr, Lecture in conjunction with Residents/Alumni Day at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, on March 25, 1994. Dr Straatsma's topic was "AgeRelated Extramacular Degeneration: Disciform and Hemorrhagic Manifestations."

Norman C. Charles, MD, to Deliver Lecture.  Norman C. Charles, MD, will deliver the annual Harvey B. Taterka Lecture at the New York University (NYU) Ophthalmology Alumni Day on Saturday, October 1, 1994, in New York City.
