Abstract

Lions Humanitarian Award Nominations Sought.  Nominations for the 1995 Lions Humanitarian Award are now being sought by Lions Club International. The 1995 award nominees must be individuals active in the prevention and reversal of blindness, the major commitment of Lions Club International. The award is presented annually to an individual demonstrating outstanding commitment to community or world service. A cash grant is included with the award. Nominations must be submitted on an official nomination form by December 31, 1994, to Lions Club International, Media Relations Department, 300 22nd St, Oak Brook, IL 60521-8842.

Cleveland Clinic Foundation Establishes Fellowship Program.  The Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic Foundation has announced a newly established fellowship program in pediatric ophthalmology. This 1-year fellowship includes clinical and research training.

Nominations Sought for Helen Keller Prize for Vision Research.  The Helen Keller Eye Research Foundation announced that the second awarding of the Helen Keller Prize for Vision Research
