Errors Reported in Percentage Differences, 95% CIs, and Associated P Values

JAMA Ophthalmol. 2016;134(10):1204. doi:10.1001/jamaophthalmol.2016.3292

In the Original Investigation, “Decadelong Profile of Women in Ophthalmic Publications,” published in JAMA Ophthalmology online on November 13, 2014, and in the March 2015 print issue,1 there were statistical errors reported in the original article (some of the percentage differences, 95% CIs, and associated P values). Once corrected, these errors affect numbers reported in the Abstract, text, figure, and tables, but did not affect the primary conclusions of the study. The article was corrected online.2
